This is Forza Motorsport 4 and this is what we do...in a Chrysler 300 SRT8!

Bling-bling racing

So, the Chrysler 300C, it was notorious for being used by the baddest mob in North America or gangsters try to DUB it out with the baddest of body kits and the oversized of rims you can think of. It's like the MS-13 waiting to attack our neighborhoods badly and every time when I think about seeing a modified 300C, it feels like there's someone already armed to the teeth and loaded with weapons waiting to kill us all in one shot. This is somewhat a gangsta' thing. Killing people is what they do best. But we're not talking about dangerous gangs in the world. Let's talk about the 300C SRT8.

One of the many reasons why the 300C is so popular among gangsters and rappers is because judging from the looks of it, it goes through the city streets in style. Smother it with Gold Chrome and this is how it gets even interesting, making it a colossal show-off. You wouldn't guess you would see someone driving at the streets in their fully blinged-up and deadly serious 300C, blasting out some sounds on their sub-woofers. Sadly then, this 300C SRT8's a bit old and what I need something that is more ready for its Battle Royale...and I think I have it...

Come and meet your new 300 SRT8

Welcome everyone to the all new Chrysler 300 SRT8. This car is part of Forza Motorsport 4's May Top Gear Pack and this 4-door premium muscle is just what I need for their Battle Royale. It may look like the new Chrysler 300 but it has some of its pumped-up muscle. For starters, the old 6.1L engine from the old 300C SRT-8 was been replaced by a new 6.4L HEMI V8 engine, the same engine I'd expected from the new Dodge Charger SRT8 that I got from November. When you put your foot on your pedal, it does sound like the new Charger SRT8 as well! It's amazing that I can still expect hearing muscle car sounds on this premium sedan that what SRT made was a fully pumped-up muscle but it wasn't as good as James May's least favorite USA muscle car, the Cadillac CTS-V.

Duel of the fraternal twins

Just one question though, is the new 300 SRT8 be any better than its twin, the new Charger SRT8? Let's stack this up. The new Charger SRT8 packs a 6.4L HEMI V8 engine that produces 471HP of power and 470lb-ft. It will do 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds and flat-out in 190mph. The new 300 SRT8 also carries the 6.4L HEMI V8 engine but it produces 465HP of power and 465lb-ft of torque. It will do 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds and flat-out in 190mph. On paper, both the Charger SRT8 and 300 SRT8 are highly similar in performance. How can we do this? Bring these two to a tamed racing driver! Some say he's a big fan of THE IDOLM@STER and his favorite iM@S character was Miki Hoshii...

By science and due consideration (and cocking about), the new Charger SRT8 did it in 1:29.579 while the new 300 SRT8 did it in 1:28.584. Personal best. Results may vary. So, doesn't matter which side are you from but what matter is that despite the 300 SRT8 has less power than the Charger SRT8, the 0-60mph time is better. As for the handling, I think the 300 SRT8 does quite well than the Charger SRT8. Heh, same platforms, identical performance. That's just pure conspiracy from Chrysler Group LLC.

The jetliner

Despite the results, this Chrysler 300 SRT8 is more than just a premium sedan on steroids but more importantly, it's a proper Battle Royale on the track. The old 300 was more than just a car made for the rapper but this new one is more of an Apprentice or Richard Branson, or helicopters, or hostile takeovers. A man in a black suit looks cool when he drives one of these. That reminds me of one thing. If you were wasting time on your Facebook, this is the kind of car you got from playing Car Town ever since the new 300 SRT8 came out but you find it a bit bored and you wish Forza 4 to add this car on a DLC Pack. The May Top Gear pack did include the new 300 SRT8 and there's something else I can do...

I may look like a normal 300 or Thema, would I?

There is an available aero parts for this car and with the right combination, I have the look of the standard Chrysler 300 (or a Lancia Thema to the Europeans). This look will make it more of a different animal and becomes more of a businessman status. Seems that this car's rock and roll days are over with such look.

An executive sedan turned into a muscle car is just a piece of conspiracy only Chrysler SRT can do when it comes to create the 300 SRT8 but if you have the devil's gift, you really can't decide if either the Charger SRT8 or 300 SRT8 is your best bet for your own Battle Royale. You know what, after a whole day at the track, I couldn't work it out at all!

Chrysler 300S meets will.i.am.

Chrysler Group, LLC. streamed a latest commercial for the Chrysler 300S with a celebrity named will.i.am. The commercial is titled "The Hardest Ever" and it seems that will.i.am is now one of the few people who endorsed on Chrysler such as rapper Eminem, football player Ndamukong Suh, fashion designer John Varvatos, and celebrity turned entrepreneur Dr. Dre. Clint Eastwood was also involved for the Super Bowl 2012 commercial with the "Halftime in America" tagline.

Lancia Thema

2012 Lancia Thema

2012 Lancia Thema interior

Lancia's newest flagship premium sedan, the Thema, is how you say "Chrysler 300" in Italian because this is essentially a Chrysler 300 in Lancia's clothing, even when this new Thema is imported from Ontario, Canada. Shame on Chrysler for calling the Chrysler 300 "Imported from Detroit", even when this is Chrysler's brand slogan.

The new Thema's exterior design is a fitting trend to the Italian Mafia, making it a perfect car to initiate a mob threat in Amalfi, or at least it could be because both the Lancia Thema and the Chrysler 300 are perfect mob cars, good enough to turn hapless victims into a mob target. Once you face one while you and your family are on a trip to Italy, you'll be a sitting duck while your family's been abducted by the mob and demanding a ransom on you.

Surprisingly if you're the henchman working for the Godfather, you'll be impressed by the Thema's world class interior that pleases your uncle who calls all the shots. What completes the Thema's interior is the Uconnect system and Alpine sound system that delivers the best experience only a true Italian-American premium sedan would get, that is when you have loads of surprise goons waiting.

Unlike the 300, the Lancia Thema doesn't offer a fire-breathing HEMI V8 engine, which sounds disappointing. Here, it is offered in Pentastar 3.6L V6, 3.0L Multijet II 190cv and 3.0L Multijet II 239cv engine. That's one petrol and two diesel engines available for the Chrysler 300's Italian cousin. Okay, a Lancia Thema equipped with Pentastar 3.6L V6 produces 286PS of power and 340Nm of torque, capable of getting 0-100 in 7.9 seconds, 240kph of top speed, and combined fuel economy of 10.6km/L (9.4L/100km). Secondly, the 3.0L Multijet II 190cv engine produces 190PS of power and 440Nm of torque, capable of getting 0-100 in 10.1 seconds, 232kph of top speed, and combined fuel economy of 14.1km/L (7.1L/100km). Finally, the 3.0L Multijet II 239cv engine produces 239PS of power and 550Nm of torque, capable of reaching 0-100 in 9 seconds, 232kph of top speed, and combined fuel economy of 13.9km/L (7.2L/100km). They are all mated with a 5-speed automatic transmission. Sadly, no 8-speed as expected...

The Lancia Thema is available in seven exterior colors; Bright White (Bianco Pastello), Black (Nero), Black berry (Blu scuro), Ivory (avorio Tristrato), Luxury brown (Marrone scuro), Mineral Gray (grigio Scuro), and Silver (grigio Chiaro).

My comment:
Even though it was imported from Ontario, the Lancia Thema, Chrysler 300's Italian cousin, is a fitting role for the Italian Mob, readying their well-orchestrated attack against you, a wealthy businessman, and your family. Watch out because if you seen one, this is not safe for your Italian travel because with this car, there's bound to be a mob threat. If you were in North America, I wonder there's a way to convert the Chrysler 300 into a Lancia Thema.

"See it Through" the latest Chrysler 300

This latest Chrysler 300 commercial, to be aired on Thanksgiving Day during the Lions-Packers football game, reads through a poem titled "See it Through" written by Edgar A. Guest (1881-1959), poet laureate of Michigan. Pity though that this Chrysler 300 featured in this ad was just a prototype model that the disclaimer said that those optional features will be available this Spring 2012. What I found out that this model featured was the "300C Luxury Series", a special edition model available this Spring 2012.

Asking what's the song played? That's Mannish Boy by Muddy Waters. That's the tune that was familiar at some Family Guy cutaway gag...

8-speed 845RE automatic

2011 Chrysler 300

2011 Dodge Charger

The 2012MY Chrysler 300 Limited and the 2012MY Dodge Charger SXT comes with the class first 8-speed 845RE automatic. This new 8-speed automatic transmission provide lower emissions and better class leading fuel efficiency of 31MPG highway. A combination between the 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine and the new 8-speed 845RE automatic would be a good combination but for me, eight gears would be somewhat too excessive and it kills the fear factor because of the added weight.

The 8-speed 845RE automatic was developed jointly with German supplier ZF.

New Chrysler 300 SRT8

The all new Chrysler 300 SRT8 is the next best thing to earn your respect to your Mafia family. Besides, not only your Mafia family will earn your respect, but your rival gangsters will be the envy of you, wishing them to get their very own Chrysler 300 SRT8, the ultimate 300 courtesy of Chrysler Group's Street & Racing Technology.

2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8

The new 300 SRT8's exterior design provides a muscular stance to earn respect to the crowd. From its unique front lamps, grille, front bumpers, 20-Inch x 9.0-Inch Aluminum SRT® Design Wheels, and a unique SRT8 badge to the back, we're sure to know that the well-sculpted exterior really matches up to its Mafia looks. The Godfather will surely be choked to death when he saw your ride parking near his penthouse.

2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 interior

Respect is everything courtesy of the Chrysler 300 SRT8's interior. At its first glance, it looks similar to the regular Chrysler 300 but because this is an SRT8 version, you should expect seeing a host of respectful interior features such as carbon fiber paneling, unique SRT steering wheel, heated and ventilated Sport Leather Bucket Seats, Power Front Driver and Passenger Seats, Driver / Passenger Power 4-Way Lumbar Adjust, and Rear 60 / 40 Folding Seat. In the middle of the instrumental panel comes the 8.4-inch Electronic Vehicle Information Center which provides real-time information on the 300 SRT8. It also provides telemetry and data such as 0-60 mph times, eighth- and quarter-mile times, 60-0 mph braking distances and lateral acceleration figures. That was also applicable to the Uconnect Touch™ 8.4N CD/DVD/MP3/NAV as well.

2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8

Does the new Chrysler 300 SRT8 have a respectful performance courtesy of Street & Racing Technology? Let's find out once and for all. The new 6.4L HEMI V8 on the 300 SRT8 makes 465 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 465 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. To provide EPA est. MPG of 16 city/25 hwy, a Fuel Saver Technology was added to provide Variable Cylinder Management, providing this V8 engine to run on fours. The flappy paddle 5-speed semi automatic gearbox sounds convincing but not too exciting because five gears aren't enough for the SRT fan to bring out more "Fear Factor" on racetracks across the USA such as Laguna Seca, Road America, Road Atlanta, and Sebring. To tackle most of America's toughest tracks, the adaptive Bilstein suspension with two driver-selectable modes tackle America's toughest jobs. Set it to Auto mode and it provides more comfort on normal roads and if you set it to Sport mode and it provides sharper handling. For stopping power, the 300 SRT8 is armed with four-piston Brembo calipers for a stronger braking at various turns.

Safety is just a low-profile for the hardcore enthusiasts and the 300 SRT8 has some of its safety features to offer such as Rain-Sensitive Windshield Wipers, Tire Pressure Monitoring Display, Anti-Lock 4-Wheel Disc Performance Brakes, and 3-Mode Electronic Stability Control. The optional SafetyTec provides more safety features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Sport and Cross Path Detection, Exterior Mirrors with Supplemental Signals, Exterior Mirrors with Courtesy Lamps, Forward Collision Warning, and Rear Fog Lamps. Experienced owners shouldn't rely on these when they're on the racetrack but newcomers should feel free to use these until they are ready to go on the EXTREME difficulty.

First time owners of the new 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 are feel free to participate in the SRT Track Experience, where a team of experts show the fundamentals on driving SRT vehicles. To register, go to http://drivesrt.com/srt-track-experience/

The new Chrysler 300 SRT8 offers six color variations such as Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat, Bright White Clear Coat, Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl Coat, Gloss Black, Ivory Tri-Coat Pearl, and Tungsten Metallic Clear Coat.

My Comment:
Respect is everything for the all new Chrysler 300 SRT8 because of the aggressive features that brings respect to the driver. Your Mafia family will be very impressed to see how good is the new 300 SRT8 but the flappy-paddle 5-speed semi-automatic gearbox is not as exciting as the other super saloons. Yeah, right.

All about 200S and 300S

2012 Chrysler 200S

2012 Chrysler 300S

The Chrysler 200S and 300S are the most stylish variants of the critically acclaimed Chrysler 200 and the new generation Chrysler 300. Although the 200S has some of its minor cosmetic treatments for the sedan and convertible variants, inside and out, the Chrysler 300S is the next big thing to call it "VIP STYLE" not only because of its "bling bling" looks but also the "Beats by Dr. Dre" audio system.

I always think about these models are far out to be "VIP STYLE" and these models can be a pretty good choice if you were a famous, wealthy person who is looking for cars that has elegance in the "sea of sameness".

The Chrysler 200S sedan and 200S convertible are equipped with exclusive exterior goodies such as a special grille, a unique Chrysler badge where the middle color is black instead of blue, body color mirrors, door handles, black bezel headlamps, 18-inch rims, and "S" badging.

On the interior, you'll see the letter "S" mounted on the front seats for some unique exclusivity and to top it all, a standard Boston Acoustic sound system with 276-watt CD/DVD/MP3/30 gigabyte hard drive media center with Uconnect® voice command.

On the Chrysler 300S, it has it all; matte carbon fiber finishes, a unique grille, 20-inch rims, a choice of black or red interior with "S" lettering on the front seats, and the first to be equipped with "Beats by Dr. Dre" audio system.

Remember the tagline..."GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WORK"

I bet the 300S was my good pick because it brings somewhat of a "gangster-look" rather than being luxurious and with the Beats by Dr. Dre audio, playing your favorite hip-hop music never been this good! Thanks, Dr. Dre!

New Chrysler 300 Commercials

With Chrysler's "Imported From Detroit" tagline and the launch of the all-new Chrysler 300, there were new commercials aired for the new Chrysler 300.

In the new Chrysler 300's first commercial, we witness more on last year's NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and Defensive Tackle football player for the Detroit Lions, Ndamukong Suh. He's going back to his Oregon hometown while driving the all new 2011 Chrysler 300 while this ad slightly showcasing Ndamukong Suh's "humble beginnings" as a football player.

The second man on the new 300 ad is John Varvatos, fashion designer. He uses some Detroit-based music as inspiration for his fashion design and on that ad, we saw him driving a Chrysler 300 prototype with some optional accessories to be on sale this Summer 2011. As a Detroit-born fashion designer who lives up to his name in New York City, John Varvatos uses some music as his inspiration to design his fashion trends, and that's his "blue collar attitude" in a "white collar" world.

This is the latest commercial for the Chrysler 300 starring Dr. Dre, rapper turned businessman for the Beats by Dr. Dre collection. He drives a prototype version of the Chrysler 300S, the custom variant of the new Chrysler 300, packed with Beats by Dr. Dre audio system to bring out the bling bling on the most notorious gang car in North America. "This is L.A. and this is what we do" Dr. Dre says. That sounds similar to the Chrysler 200 Super Bowl ad starring Eminem. Well, good things come to those who work. ^_^

Anyway, the custom variant of the Chrysler 300, the 300S, packs a sense of style for the big-time rushers who want to show off their brute force. Let's hope that CATS Motors will bring the all-new Chrysler 300 to the Philippines soon!

New Chrysler 300/300C

Over the years, since its debut in 2004, the Chrysler 300/300C became the most notorious premium sedan made for the American market because as by interest, the flagship of Chrysler is preferable by the most notorious gangsters in North America. The reason why I called the Chrysler 300 a gangster's favorite because most of them put something "Bling Bling", something from the armory, and some hydraulics. Then, most gangsters love to listen Rap and Hip Hop on the Chrysler 300. Now, in 2011, the new Chrysler 300/300C flips the top like a Flip Top rap battle and wow, most gangsters would go crazy with this new look.

2011 Chrysler 300

2011 Chrysler 300 interior

Now even more notorious than the previous model, this flagship Chrysler sedan takes on all comers and with the choice of the 5.7-litre HEMI V8 and the new Pentastar 3.5L V6 engine, I am pretty sure that this new model will tempt gangsters and wealthy people to stick with the new 300/300C and if that happens, get ready to flip the top! The front view of the new 300 now incorporates the new Chrysler trademark grille as well as the new logo first seen on the Chrysler 200 medium sedan. The new look of the new 300 incorporates more of a "Corporate Muscle" and for other reasons, they made it more like a bouncer in the bar rather than being a most wanted gangster in North America. The new futuristic interior of the new 300 really wows the gangster, tempting to use every premium amenities offered on the new 300 especially the new Uconnect system, incorporating voice activation, touch screen controls, navigation, music, everything needed for the most wanted.

Looking over on the two engine types; the Pentastar V6 3.5L engine incorporates a power output of 292HP/6350RPM, torque output of 260lb-ft/4200RPM, and the fuel economy of 27MPG highway (FR models). The top-of-the-line 5.7L HEMI V8 engine has a capability of 363HP of power output, torque output of 394lb-ft, and the fuel economy of 25MPG highway. The choice of The Godfather is the 5.7L HEMI V8 engine because it has a high power needed to escape a brutal police chase or even crash the rival mafia's hideout but those who are focused on the fuel economy may choose the new Pentastar V6 variant of the new 300. Pentastar V6 first applied on the new Jeep Grand Cherokee last year and I'm sure the new Pentastar engine helps regain the Chrysler image after the brink of a bankruptcy and now owned by Fiat.

My thoughts about the 300:
It's a "Yes, We Can" for the new Chrysler 300 because not only it regained a new Chrysler image, but also outfitted with the new 3.5L V6 engine that is the first from Chrysler Group, LLC. The badder the new gets, the more chances gangsters want to snatch it and trick out with everything that goes "Bling Bling" after dark.

The Mafias, Yakuzas, Vory, Mafiya, Triads, and other gangsters are going to be so proud that Chrysler renewed the 300 for their own personal preferences and not only the gangsters would indulge in the temptation of Chrysler's flagship, even the wealthy. The new 300 may also come to Europe as Lancia's flagship sedan but details about Lancia's flagship sedan remains slim for now until Geneva. Some say this Lancia version of the Chrysler 300 will be outfitted with a turbo diesel engine and it may come in an estate variant pretty soon.

Let's hope that CATS Motors bring the new Chrysler 300 someday but only big-time criminals are allowed to get one of these. The Chrysler 300 is a Mafia car now made even badder for the next generation of Mafias and gangsters. It's a "Give and Take" risk for the 300 but can this new model succeed?
