Fun with the 765PRO ALL-STARS figures

Ever since Phat! Company unveiled THE IDOLM@STER anime DVD/Blu-Ray cover figure range back in 2014, Hibiki Ganaha was the first of the range and now that deliveries of the latest addition of the range, which of course the face of THE IDOLM@STER franchise and the center girl of the 765PRO ALL-STARS, Haruka Amami, was all set, it's becoming a dream come true to have the rest of the main characters of THE IDOLM@STER gathered around. It really is every producers' bucket list to complete the 765PRO ALL-STARS in a pinch.

Overall, those die-hard IDOLM@STER like you and I have spent about 144,400 Japanese Yen or 1,320 US Dollars or 69,214 PhP or whatever currency you're into to get those twelve idols and while this sounds like wallet brutality, these figures are more than just toys, they're proof that they are fans of the 765PRO ALL-STARS, the pioneers of THE IDOLM@STER franchise.

Let's get to know the 144,400 Yen collection's worth of 765PRO ALL-STAR figures from the folks of Phat! Company...

First, there's Hibiki Ganaha. It came out since May 2014 with prices start at 7429 plus tax. Hibiki is a bright and cheerful girl is as bright as the sun.

Second on the list is Iori Minase, which arrived since June 2014 with a price tag of 7222 Yen plus tax. Iori is a self-centered celebrity and a well-rounded tsundere.

Yayoi Takatsuki is the third on the list with prices start at 7389 Yen plus tax when it landed stores since January 2015. Yayoi works hard as an idol to support her family.

The fourth one is Miki Hoshii. Went on sale since May 2015 with a 7,400 Yen plus tax price tag. Miki is a kind of a girl who slacks off but she has a lot of potential.

Takane Shijou is the fifth of the range with prices start at 8,000 Yen plus tax since it went on sale on September 2015. Takane Shijou really is a woman of a mystery.

Number six of the lineup is Makoto Kikuchi, which was priced at 8,400 Yen plus tax and went on sale on October 2015. Makoto is somewhat a tomboyish type of idol which is very popular among female fans.

Seventh of the range is Yukiho Hagiwara. This one also has an 8,400 Yen plus tax pricetag but it came out three months later. Yukiho is somewhat of a wallflower who tends to shy away from the rest but she does everything to change.

Eighth goes to Azusa Miura, which carries a 8,400 Yen price tag plus tax when it came out on September 2016. Azusa tends to get carried away but has endless qualities.

Number nine goes to the most expensive of the range, Ami and Mami Futami. Why? It carried a hefty 17800 Yen price tag plus tax when it came out last January 2017. Ami is the dazzling one while Mami is the sexy one.

Tenth of the range is Ritsuko Akizuki, which came out since September 2017 after numerous difficulties and priced at 9,000 Yen plus tax. Ritsuko combines all of the attributes as both producer and idol at the same time.

Eleventh of the range goes to Chihaya Kisaragi, which was priced at 11,000 yen plus tax when it was arrived since April 2018. Chihaya devotes everything to music in a stoic manner.

And just arrived is Haruka Amami. The center girl of 765PRO ALL-STARS and the eternal face of the franchise. Her recent arrival came with an 11,000 Yen price tag plus tax. Haruka is a caring and loving idol.

So, with their introduction done, let's have some impressions with the 765PRO ALL-STARS and see how much love do you want to give to these idols you're familiar with.

What I've done here is I did some group shots and based on the group shots, they were grouped based on their appearances from the covers of the ANIMATION M@STER soundtracks.

They are now grouped by order of their appearances from the manga based on the TV series.

Anything goes!

It's great to say that it's been an honor to collect these figures based on the 765PRO ALL-STARS from THE IDOLM@STER. It really is every producer's bucket list to collect them all and now that they're here, feels like my so-called infinity war with them is over or so I thought...

Strange. I thought this range should be finished with Haruka Amami but as it turned out, there's one last character on the range. Wonder who could that be? No one knows but I know someone who is.

Anyway, while I have no idea who that is, let's consider that the 765PRO ALL-STARS is complete but as long as other franchises ganging up for more ways to complete the cast, there's always an infinity war somewhere. My infinity war with 765PRO ALL-STARS maybe over but there are other franchises out there wanting fans to complete the range so get your checks and wallets ready. Until then, let's savor the moment with your favorite 765 Production idols anytime you want.

Fun with the 12th Doctor's Second Sonic Screwdriver

Any Doctor Who fanatics who wish to resume cosplaying as the Twelfth Doctor but afraid that they didn't had his latest Sonic Screwdriver can rest easily because the folks from Character Options/Underground Toys made us a toy replica of The Twelfth Doctor's Second Sonic Screwdriver and I have it here. Let's take a look...

It took me over thirty dollars to buy this latest replica of the newest Sonic Screwdriver from the show but it's fair to say that it's money well-spent on this hard-to-find toy replica that you can make use of it on your next Doctor Who cosplay.

Look at this new look. So archaic, so blue, and so just like any other Sonic Screwdrivers from the past five decades of Doctor Who. Fans had a glimpse of the new one at the end of the Series 9 finale of Doctor Who, titled Hell Bent, after The Doctor and Clara bid each other goodbye and gone through separate ways. Because this is a new sonic screwdriver, how The Doctor make use of the new one remains unclear and as the latest series is coming this year, let's see how much screen exposure this new one can get.

The latest Sonic Screwdriver compared to the previous Sonic Screwdriver during the Matt Smith years. New look, same functionality.

For the first time in a Sonic Screwdriver replication, it emits not one but two different colors!

I know that anyone who want to resume cosplaying as the Twelfth Doctor can finally have this brand new toy replica based on the latest Sonic Screwdriver but feels like it's too late to explain about because with news that Peter Capaldi leaving his titular role at the 2017 Christmas Special, meaning that this new toy will be as meaningless as the imminent departure of the lead actor from the longest-running TV show in the universe. The "useless" part was just the hunch but the lead actor from the show? That's real stuff because you heard it from the man himself during an interview and while I find it very sad to see him go, it's best to make use of this new Sonic Screwdriver toy as cosplaying as the 12th Doctor for one, last time, will be the biggest sendoff offering for him.

In the meantime, I made a little video of this toy. Check it out and be sure to find one at your nearest stores if they had one.

Come and meet your toy "sestras"

Yes, these are the Leda clones as seen from the hit BBC America TV series, Orphan Black, and although they both have the same faces, not to mention the actress who played those clones, their personalities are different and thanks to our friends from HOT TOPIC, you can take home these Funko Pop vinyl figures of the Clone Club from the show.

Yes, these are available exclusively at Hot Topic for 12.50 US Dollars each plus tax, but I bought four of these "sestras" because, well, they really are the Clone Club after all and I do deserve a piece of Orphan Black in my home ever since I got into the Clone Club craze.

That's Sarah Manning, the main character of the TV show. Upon witnessing a horrible subway accident that killed a woman who turned out to be just like her, Sarah is on a deadly mission to uncover the truth behind her origins, even if it takes to keep her daughter Kira from the dangers that surround her. She knows the art of cloneswapping and she can disguise herself as one of the clones she encountered. Amazing.

This is Alison Hendrix and she is a housewife, a very desperate housewife who is not afraid to aim a firearm at you and also torturing backstabbing husbands with a glue gun. Remember that episode? Well, you get the idea but in the past, she tries to figure out what in the world her husband, Donnie, is up to, but things got spiralled out of control. Alison watched her neighbor Aynsley choked to death, Donnie accidentally killed Dr. Leeke of the Dyad Institute and hid his corpse under the garage of their home, now they're trying to hide from the world that they're alleged murderers.

That's Cosima Niehaus, the smart one who helped the Clone Club uncovering the truth about themselves. As every viewers knew, Cosima's more of a lesbian geek because of her relationship with a French woman who turned out to be one of Dyad's, Delphine Cormier, but despite her love affair, Cosima's fighting against a respiratory disease that threatens her life completely. Oh, and did I mention she can beat you in any board game you know?

Lastly, that's Helena, a merciless weapon of carnage who thinks she's the original but she's the identical twin of Sarah who was separated at birth and raised by Ukrainian nuns. Sarah thought she killed her at the end of the first season but she survived and later, she got abducted and pregnated by a religious cult known as the Proletheans. Upon escaping from them, the two sestras met each other again after killing one of Rachel Duncan's henchmen, but their hearts are starting to soften and Sarah will do everything to keep this vile woman safe from harm. Contrary to her violent nature, Helena's more of a glutton and she'll eat just about everything.

Anyway, that's all I can tell about my new favorite characters, but with these Pop vinyl figures modeled after them, it's great to know that you had a piece of Orphan Black in your collection. Having the entire Clone Club in your home is like you're keeping them as your property, your toy, your experiment, and your weapon. Property refers to Sarah, toy refers to Alison, experiment refers to Cosima, and weapon refers to Helena. Wouldn't it be nice to have the sestras together?

Like I said, these are available exclusively at Hot Topic for 12.50 US Dollars each plus tax and you can have a slice of your favorite Project Leda sestras from the show. Whether if you're as brave as Sarah, as desperate as Alison, as smart as Cosima, or as deadly as Helena, these are the ones to buy!

Which sestra will you pick?

Facing with the enemy...

Earlier, I got myself a package of some stuff I ordered from the internet. I wonder what is it? Let's open it!

After opening package, the one that I ordered from the internet was...oh my gosh...

In an unexpected series of events, I have just bought myself a 1/18th scale model of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, my most hatred car in the history probably because...well, you know the background.

To recall, I developed my strong hatred to this car ever since NAMCO didn't put Punkish Gothic on the PS3 version of THE iDOLM@STER 2 and Top Gear was revoked from Gran Turismo 6. It all seems clear now why I don't like this to be appeared in any other games because like I said, it's a Gran Turismo-exclusive car and best to back off. I had a lot of negative arguments from it and the community just doesn't agree to me probably because of the licensing issues. Hey, with Forza Motorsport 5's February DLC Pack is approaching, the risk of seeing the C7 Corvette in the list is...I'm guessing 1-to-10 because Forza faithfuls, who turned out to be traitors and spent their time to the Gran Turismo side, demanded for this car to be here. Who cares about it? I just don't want Turn 10 Studios, the staff behind Forza, to steal this car or else, this is going to be a declaration of war...of the two racing games.

I had just one question; if Turn 10 ever managed to put the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C7), which has exclusive licensing with Gran Turismo (and since it's GT6's cover car), should Sony sue them for unfair competition? Remember, Turn 10 stole stuff from Gran Turismo like the Spa-Francorchamps track, Caterham, KTM X-Bow, and other Gran Turismo stuff that shouldn't be on Forza in the first place. It's a criss-cross scenario. Steal one from your enemy and your enemy will steal yours. Only time will tell whether they're going to commit the biggest crime in the racing video game genre history or not and I have my fingers crossed that such the inevitable won't happen during the revelation of Forza 5's February DLC Pack.

Oh yeah, the recently revealed 2015 C7 Z06 and the C7.R? Back off video game makers. The C7 Corvette's still got Gran Turismo exclusive licensing and they'll show up on future installments of the Gran Turismo franchise. You have been warned.

Anyway, let's not talk about the inevitable conspiracy. Let's talk about my latest addition to my toy car collection...

Judging by the way it looks 18 times smaller than the real thing, it's still looks magnificent in every angle!

And when you open the hood, the doors, and the liftgate, you are mostly welcome that this toy car opens its doors like the real thing.

Must be the 6.2L LT1 V8 engine developing about 450HP of power in the real world.

Having checking out through the detailing inside and out, the C7 Corvette toy car looks well-done, a bit 98% accurate to the real model, and as a collector's item, it's quite an investment to keep for generations to come.

Although I'm very glad I got a toy car 18-times smaller than the real C7 Corvette, I still want something more to do with it. Something to add some twist to my latest addition to my collection, do you know what I mean? Well, I have something up in my sleeve but what should I do with it? You'll find out soon in the not-too-distant future, giving you some free time to argue and guess what I'm gonna do with it but in the meantime, best to keep it for a few moments before my Brainiac instincts came up with the answer to this question.
