Let's Do The News! (May 10, 2014)

Things we learned today...

- I've digged up some rather clever news earlier and this one is about from Nintendo. Moments ago, when Nintendo announced to sell Tomodachi Life to the North American consumers next month, there was one part that caused the community in angst and this part is about why same-sex relationships is not part of Tomodachi Life. Nintendo fan Tye Marini began the #Miiquality social media campaign to bring fans address concerns about this little mess about homosexuals not part of the game.

In the official statement by Nintendo; they've apologized to the community about no homosexual relationships in this game but promised that in the next installment, they will provide as they promised in the future.

Moral to the report? Real life equality first, virtual equality later...

- Another LGBT-related news I'd dug up from a not-too-distant past is this; a conservative pastor puts an attack on the Disney Frozen film, saying that this movie will turn children gay...errr what? He states two conspiracy theories that the theme song "Let It Go" is a coming out song, stating that snow queen Elsa realizes she was born that way and accepts who she is and the other one is about the male character Kristoff who has an "unnatural relationship" with his animal companion Sven. Sounds painful but nobody really cares about it...there's nothing gay about a girls' movie.

- Some San Francisco residents sticking fliers on the side of the Tesla Model S electric saloons, exposing about TESLA MOTORS' shocking truth. What is it about? Find out here...

- Check out the teaser trailer for Disney's upcoming fall family comedy movie, ALEXANDER and the Terrible, Horrible No Good, Very Bad Day.

- In a report from PEP, Bubble Gang actress Rufa Mae Quinto reveals the success of her cyst removal operation.

In Game 1 of the PBA 2014 Commissioner's Cup finals between San Mig Super Coffee Mixers vs. Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters; it looks like the Super Coffee Mixers took the lead after a 95-80 win against the Tropang Texters. In a best-out-of-5-games match, looks like things are going well for last year's champions but will they keep up on Game 2 or will Tropang Texters snag a chance?

- The Philippine authorities arrested some Chinese fishermen for infringing wildlife law. The capture of the Chinese fisherman does not serve as a provocation against China's territorial row.

TTFN!!!
