- According to a Balitang Amerika report, there was an American journalist spending hours watching programs from ABS-CBN's The Filipino Channel. Jonathan Block, a journalist from New York, told that even though he doesn't understand Tagalog, he's one of the many foreigners who love the Filipino culture.

- Peugeot revealed their special 208 GTi 30th Anniversary edition on Goodwood Festival of Speed. This special pays tribute to the 205 GTi and it features an uprooted version of its 1.6L THP engine.

- IT'S THE NEW FOCUS ST! Well, sort of. The Ford Focus ST has a new face while still retaining the same 247bhp 2.0L EcoBoost engine. Actually, there was one addition to the Focus ST but unfortunately, because this is a Euro-only variant, I can't tell you what's what but I can tell you that classified engine running on the d-word is 63hp less than its petrol equivalent.

- Director Guillermo Del Toro announced that there's going to be a Pacific Rim sequel in the works but that's not all because the hit mecha robot movie will spawn a cartoon series.

- Just before Season 3 hits the airwaves, Nickelodeon's hit animated action series, The Legend of Korra, gets its very own video game and Platinum Games is in charge for development of this fall's video game which set after Season 2.

- Solaire goes airborne as the Philippines' premier integrated resort and casino is collaborating with Air Asia for their breakthrough branding project.
