The big scoop today...

- Is Philippine Vice-President Jejomar Binay allowed to be "adopted candidate" for the Liberal Party this upcoming 2016 elections? Not so fast, says Frank Drilon.

- The Senate has approved the "Iskolar Ng Bayan" Act of 2014, which allows the top 10 graduates of public schools in the Philippines to grant college scholarships.

- Aston Martin's Vanquish and Rapide S are updated for the 2015 model year with the implementation of the new 8-speed Touchtronic III gearbox and some minor hotfixes on their V12 engines.

- The latest Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been given some weapons-grade bulletproof protection in the form of S600 Guard edition. This model features protective steel and thick glass coated with polycarbonate. It's VR9 graded, meaning it can withstand against rifle shots from military weapons. There are other security stuff capable for securing high-ranking officials and wealthy individuals alike.

- The Malacanang Palace admits that the Bangsamoro Law may be delayed until next year.

- There was a city somewhere in China's Xinjiang region that bans people with large beards or Islamic clothing from travelling on public buses. This ban has caused outrage from China's Islamic community and blaming them for terrorist attacks seeking independence for the region.
