- Following the jury decision that Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson is not guilty on the murder of Michael Brown, a black 18-year-old, there has been some violent protests happening through the USA, seeking justice on the death of the said person.

- Pope Francis warned that Europe is "somewhat elderly and haggard" during his speech to the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

- Following the extension of Iran's nuclear talks, Republican lawmakers in the US demanded more sanctions against the said nation.

- The Sandiganbayan has approved Senator Jinggoy Estrada's request to undergo therapy in a hospital in San Juan City.

- A man who was allegedly a member of the MILF and his ally were shot down in a crossfire with police who had tried to serve a search warrant in his house in Las Pinas.

- Parts shortage slows down troubled car parts maker Takata to replace affected airbag inflators and their poor response has been condemned by US lawmakers.

- Happy 45th birthday to the Nissan GT-R! The Japanese carmaker launched a special 45th anniversary model of their flagship sportscar, now on its 2015MY (US 2016MY) update. The special model is painted in special Silica Breath color, an ode to the R34 Skyline GT-R's exterior color.

- Check out the first trailer of the upcoming teen movie The DUFF, starring Mae Whitman and Bella Thorne.

- Out of nowhere, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the CLA Shooting Brake which has bigger boot than the A-Class it was based on. There's also a Mercedes-AMG CLA45 Shooting Brake as well which comes with the same 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo engine and 4MATIC as its other siblings.
