- Business tycoon and presidential candidate Donald Trump reigns the Republican race for US president by causing too much controversies in the first debate. His refusal to deny a third-party run drew disgust from the audience and he stood by offensive comments he has made in the past about women.

- French authorities will conduct a massive search all over the island of Reunion in the hope of finding more debris which could be linked to the missing flight MH370.

- The names of slain PNP Special Action Forces officer PO2 Romeo Cempron and Mamasapano survivor Superintendent Raymund Train, who were going to receive two of the highest medals from the police, were allegedly removed from the list of awardees at the last minute. Has the president forgotten about the SAF troopers involved in January's Mamasapano clash?

- Philippine Vice President Jejomar Binay confirmed that Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago was among those being considered as his running mate in next year's elections.

- Mazda teases a crossover concept car called the Koeru Concept which will appear at next month's Frankfurt Motor Show. Could this be the next CX-9 which Japan will be getting soon?!


- The latest video for the new Need For Speed game, coming to PS4, XBOX One, and PC this fall, will feature five real-world street legends including Porsche freak Magnus Walker, drift icon Ken Block, RWB's Akira Nakai, the Chicago-based street racing group Risky Devils, and Lamborghini driving Yakuza associate/street racer Morohoshi-san.



- Actor Alden Richards has signed a four-year movie contract with APT Entertainment Inc. When asked about which female actress he will be pairing next, Alden responses that he'll stick with Yaya Dub at the moment because of the popularity spiked because of Eat Bulaga's Problem Solving kalyeserie #KiligPaMore.

- Former GMA weatherman Amado Pineda has been passed away at the age of 77 yesterday. Pineda is known to be the network's original weatherman who provides weather reports from the 70's to 80's.
