The fourth and final season of Aikatsu was concluded last spring and replaced by its successor series, Aikatsu Stars, but for those who want to relive the songs and score heard from both the TV series and its Data Carddass arcade game, there is now the fourth and final original soundtrack inspired from the fourth and final season of Aikatsu, a fitting sendoff to the adventures of Akari Ozora and friends to become the academy's top idols.

Aikatsu no Ongaku 04 is by no means the fourth and final Aikatsu original soundtrack packed with songs and score as heard not just on the final season of Aikatsu but on the final update of the Data Carddass Aikatsu game before it was replaced by its successor Aikatsu Stars Data Carddass game. From TV show BGMs curated by MONACA's finest, to songs performed by AIKATSU☆STARS! and STAR☆ANIS, including the all-star version of the Aikatsu favorite song, アイドル活動！, every tune in this two-disc compilation is more than enough to become an instant souvenir for every Aikatsu fan who really going to miss the Akari Generation of the show since 2012.

Just one of the ways to say goodbye to the Akari Generation saga of Aikatsu but even though Akari's story ended months ago and a new chapter unfolds in the life and times of Yume Nijino and friends in Aikatsu Stars last April 2016, the tales of Akari Ozora's quest to become one of the academy's top idols will ever be told to generations to come.
