THREATS FROM NORTH KOREA: Nuke envoys meet in Jeju to continue talks

The top nuclear envoys in South Korea and the United States have started talks on Jeju Island to further discuss ways on how to deal with the North Korea issue.

Meeting for the second time in as many months, South Korea's Lee Do-hoon and his American counterpart Joseph Yun are expected to talk about the roughly  60-day suspension in Pyongyang's missile and nuclear activities.

They are also expected to discuss the results of US President Donald Trump's South Korean visit and Asia, as well as the significance of China sending a special envoy to North Korea.

Two will also attend a joint South Korea-UN conference on disarmament and non-proliferation issues, taking place in Jeju Island.
