THREATS FROM NORTH KOREA: SK-CH leaders agree on basic priorities



South Korean president Moon Jae-in and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on Thursday called for efforts to improve ties and reaffirmed their joint position to peacefully end the North Korea crisis.

The two leaders made some progress during their third bilateral summit in Beijing on THursday, but when it comes to the THAAD issue, clear differences remain.

Moon's top press secretary Yoon Young-chan told a press briefing, during their Beijing summit, the leaders reached an agreement on four basic principles in dealing with North Korea's nuclear threat.

The two countries agreed to put their bilateral relationship back on track in a joint statement issued on October 31st.
