- US President Donald Trump ordered airstrikes in Syria in response to the alleged chemical attack that killed civilians. The United Kingdom and France also joined alongside the US on the air attack as well.

- Arizona governor Doug Ducey announced Thursday that teachers will be given 20% pay raises by the beginning of the 2020 school year. Under his proposal, teachers' pay would increase 9% in the 2018 school year, then another 5% for the next two years, which would boost the average salary to $58,130 by 2020.

- Pagani bids the Huayra farewell with the L'Ultimo, which is made for the CEO of Pagani's Miami dealership, Prestige Imports. It dons a unique silver and green livery, a homage to the Mercedes-AMG F1 team.



- Announced at today's Sega Fes, SEGA announced that a new Sakura Wars game is coming as well as remastered versions of the first two Shenmue games, a new game for the Nintendo Switch, Border Break, and a Mega Drive Mini console.

- Billy "King of Kong" Mitchell's high score records were no longer recognized after verifying a claim that his Donkey Kong high scores were not achieved on arcade hardware. Also, the Guinness World Records will also no longer recognize Billy Mitchell's high scores. This also includes his records for first perfect score on Pac-Man and highest score on Pac-Man, according to reports.

- The Bourne franchise will spawn a spinoff TV series on USA Network titled Treadstone.
