- The low pressure area east of Mindanao has now developed into a Tropical Depression locally called Domeng. As 1000 hours local time, As of 10:00 a.m. today, ‘Domeng’ was spotted 675 kilometers East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar. It has maximum sustained winds of 45 kph and gusts reaching 60 kilometers per hour (kph) and will bring moderate to heavy rains within its 200-km diameter.

- The Supreme Court did not resolve the motion filed last week by Maria Lourdes P. A. Sereno who sought the reversal of the May 11 decision that ousted her as chief justice and head of the judiciary. Instead, the SC, during its full court session, required the Office of the Solicitor General, which filed the case against Sereno in behalf of the government, to comment on the motion within a non-extendable period of five (5) days from receipt of the order.

- The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency has tagged about 93 government officials in the new drug list. In Tuesday’s press briefing, PDEA Director-General Aaron Aquino said the new list included some congressmen and mayors.

- PhilHealth chief Celestina Ma. Jude dela Serna was fired by President Duterte due to excessive trips less than a week after firing another official.

- Starbucks chief Howard Schultz announced that he was retiring from the company, fueling rumors that he may run for president in 2020. Schultz, 64, has been serving as executive chairman of Starbucks since stepping down as chief executive in April.

- Grab launched its innovation arm to develop technology start-ups in sectors such as transport, food services, logistics and financial services, further expanding beyond ride-hailing. Grab, which made its start as a taxi-booking app six years ago, has ventured into areas including payments and food delivery. Earlier this year, it bought Uber Technologies’regional operations.

- Honda pulled the wraps of their N-VAN, which will be available this summer.

- Shelby unveiled the Mustang-based Super Snake, powered by a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine produces either 710HP or 800HP with the additional Whipple unit that propels it to a 0-60mph time of 3.5 seconds.
