The first part of the race heralds the rise of this season's champion as Jean-Eric Vergne, started last following his disqualification at the qualifying lap for having too much power and stormed his way to fifth place, managed to earn enough points to be crowned the ABB FIA Formula E Champion for this season. Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler nailed their first 1-2 finish with di Grassi and Abt while Renault's Sebastien Buemi placed 3rd. In the latter half of the race, Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler nicked their Constructors' Championship title with Lucas di Grassi and Daniel Abt placed 2nd and 3rd with the world champion JEV wins the latter half.

HIGHLIGHTS:

What a race it was. Jean-Eric Vergne won the championship but it was Audi Sport that nicked their Team Championship win. What a sendoff for these machines and that really is the end of the fourth season of the ABB FIA Formula E. Next season will be the biggest Formula E to date so see you in December.
