First Love (2018 film)

After so many years, Aga Mulach is back in showbizness as he stars in a movie that puts him and Bea Alonzo in it. It's titled First Love and this film pinpoints to the viewers that love can happen at any time at any place, no matter what the circumstances are.

First Love

It all starts with an accidental encounter upon saving a stranger's life, a businessman named Nick and a photographer named Ali's encounter sparked many things in their mind. Nick tries to leave his wrongdoings behind while trying to get to know about Ali better even though Ali was diagnosed with a congenital hearth disease and being on the waitlist for a heart transplant. Ali hopes that she and Nick will live their lives to the fullest before its too late, although some painful sacrifices had to be made.

This movie is either average, upbeat, and solemn at the same time and while witnessing Aga Mulach's comeback in a rather simple way, showing that age hasn't slowed this actor down, it's upright positive at first until it hits the lower notes all the way to the end of the film. Therefore it can be either happy or sad at the same time, which is typical for a slice-of-life romantic film of that magnitude but whether you love it or loathe it, First Love is the romantic film you can strongly relate to from beginning to end and if you're itching for a romantic movie that soothes your brows all the way home, consider this.

My rating: 3.8 out of 5.
