President Moon's tour of Europe continues in Brussels, the fourth stop on his five-nation tour to the continent.
During his roughly 48 hours in the Belgian capital, the South Korean leader is going to be on a diplomacy blitz with most of his attention on North Korea.
The president will attend the Asia-Europe Meeting, or ASEM on Friday local time, and hold bilateral summits with his British, German, and Thai counterparts and the European Union in Brussels.
The president's Europe tour wraps up in Copenhagen, where he will take part in the P4G Copenhagen summit 2018.
The U.S.-led United Nations Command issued an official statement Friday morning that its verification work of mine clearance at the JSA lays foundation for future progress of the implementation of recently-signed inter-Korean comprehensive military agreement.
The military agreement signed by defense ministers of two Koreas during last month's Pyeongyang summit, which stipulates mine clearance in the JSA starting October first, designation of no-fly zones around the border area, reduction of some of guard posts and armed weapons in DMZ, among others.
The UN Command also stressed that it will continue to closely work with both Koreas to synchronize implementation efforts of the agreement.
