ゲンバラとMP4-12Cのコラボ?!

Gemballa Racing McLaren MP4-12C GT3

It seems that the world famous Porsche tuner, Gemballa, taken interest to the Motorsport world under the newly founnded Gemballa Racing, supervised by the tuning arm's Supervisory Board director, Marco Marquardt. Their maiden voyage to the circuit racing won't be using a Porsche, but a McLaren MP4-12C GT3 for next year's motorsport season.

Is Gemballa ready in the world of motorsports? (モータースポーツの世界でゲンバラ準備ができていますか?)

MR. GEMBALLA FOUND DEAD IN S. AFRICA!!!

Terrible news for those who are a big fan of Gemballa, the famous Porsche tuner as seen in video games such as Shutokou Battle Zero-One (Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3), Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition, and other racing video games that has a Gemballa featured on it.

I found news about Mr. Uwe Gemballa, the founder of Gemballa currently missing on South Africa. Authorities told.

Mr. Gemballa's dead!!

Side note: He was involved by some criminal from the Czech Republic? How could we, car addicts and racing game sims alike, been so blinded by that. Time flies fast. Hope the new Gemballa owner will clean the name's reputation.

First the master test driver, then the Segway tycoon, now the founder of Gemballa! Who would be next?! Hope nothing's happen bad to the wealthy men involved in the world of transportation.

Rest in piece Mr. Gemballa and Arigato Gozaimasu.

Sayonara, Gemballa-san. (Sorry if I had to put Japanese phrases because Japanese car enthusiasts took a liking over Gemballa because of video games)

The Gemballa re-birth

Despite Uwe Gemballa's whereabouts still unknown yet, Gemballa starts over from day one thanks to the new owner named Andreas Schwarz.

Full scoop:

AWWRIGHT! It's good to have our favorite Porsche tuner back on track thanks to its replacement owner.

With Gemballa's back, they're now working on tuning more Porsche cars, as well as the new Cayenne models.

I wonder what will the new Gemballa do with the new Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid? Find out soon!

...and oh, it's good to have the Gemballa brand back, despite the owner still missing.

Gemballa's end...

If you really know what Gemballa means, this was the famous tuner for Porsches (take note for the Boxster-based GTR 500, and the 911 Turbo-based GTR 750, as seen on Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3/Shutokou Battle Zero-One from PS2), Ferraris (the F355 from Midnight Club 3 Remix), and Lamborghinis respectively.

I just found something on the internet earlier, regarding Uwe Gemballa's mysterious disappearance:

If some of you realize that the man behind Gemballa is missing, we don't really know what happened. Some say, he went to South Africa, others said he was kidnapped, and a few said, he was running away from the feds.

Check out another related article:

And if that wasn't enough, here is another related article:
It seems that the founder's mystery disappearance marks the end of the tuning franchise. Guess most Porsche fans would be sad by hearing this. Especially video game makers planning for next racing games would be difficult finding licensing rights to Gemballa. (Thank goodness, the upcoming Gran Turismo 5 still has licensing rights to another Porsche tuner, RuF)

With Gemballa's end, will RuF be next? Hope not!
