Who needs 4WD to go anywhere?

In Top Gear USA, the boys are trying to state that you don't need a 4wd car to go offroad. With Rutledge on the Toyota Yaris, Tanner on the Lincoln Town Car, and Adam on the Ford Mustang V6, they're tackling America's toughest roads. Struggling but who cares about it?

At the near end, we saw Adam's Mustang totaled thanks to his idea of putting a glider on the top, thinking that this can glide. EPIC FAIL for him.

On that bombshell, that concludes the First Half of this season's Top Gear. We've witnessed cop cars, micro minis, cult classics, offroaders, Stig's offroading cousin, tractors, crop duster, and ordinary rental cars go offroading...

Be cool, they'll be back soon for the second half...

What’s in our Car Town garage now? Let's have a look on what we have from the normal, to the LIMITED EDITION, and whatever Car Town ever offered.

2012 Lotus Exige S

Yes, the Evora may have a V6 engine from a Toyota but for the enthusiasts, the Evora, even with its supercharged V6 engine, is a bit heavy and what they like is traditional lightweights such as the Elise and the Exige. What if that supercharged V6 engine that powers the Evora has been placed on a lightweight Lotus? The result is this, the all new 2012 Lotus Exige S V6, the hardtop hardcore version of the Elise, now made even better with its 3.5L V6 supercharged engine. Lotus enthusiasts love this new version for its track-day use and its lightweight body.

2012 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque

The baby Rangie maybe a bit well focused on city driving but its offroad capabilities are much like the regular Range Rover. They even had former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham influenced the design for the Evoque. This luxury crossover is all about THE POWER OF PRESENCE and I think this is one of my personal favorites on this social game.

Subaru XV (GP7)

In the past, we never knew that Subaru made a crossover version of the popular Subaru Impreza. In 1995, we saw a variant of the Impreza called the Gravel EX that combines the ruggedness of the sport utility vehicle and the quality of a sports car. However, in 1997, it was discontinued but in 2010, the Gravel Express was reborn as the XV, Impreza XV, a rugged crossover version of the third generation Impreza but last year, it was phased out in preparation of the fourth Impreza. With the Impreza, now on its fourth generation, has the Sport hatchback and the G4 sedan, Subaru decided to give the XV another go but this time...they are not allowed to use the Impreza name. Just XV.

a new type

2013 Subaru XV

And here it is. This really is the XV and what Subaru did is beef up the normal Subaru Impreza Sport hatchback and dress it up with some ruggedness that suits an everyday adventurer who want to go out for a trip to Hokkaido or Mt. Fuji. From the looks of it, the all new 2013 Subaru XV now really resembles like the XV Concept as seen in Shanghai last year. It looks great for those who can't afford the Subaru Legacy Outback.

Don't be surprised though, this car's been available in the US, Europe, and Asia, and this is somewhat a late arrival to bring the XV to Japan but what to expect more on the Japanese-spec Subaru XV was this...

The XV comes with the FB20 engine from the latest Subaru Impreza mated with Subaru's legendary Symmetrical AWD so it was made to conquer any kind of road on any kind of weather because the XV was made for the outdoorsy person who loves adventures. Not only made for the outdoorsman, it's also a city cruiser because on the urban streets, the XV tries to stand out the crowd and that's something if you are the kind of person who wears a North Face jacket for autumn in Tokyo. Anyway, the FB20 engine though, this produces 150PS of power and it was mated with the new generation Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) for smoother driving. For fuel consumption, the XV takes about 15.8km/L, that's about as similar as the Mitsubishi RVR but less than the Nissan Juke's.

Also, unlike any others, the XV do get an optional Eyesight safety system with a feature that works like a Vovlo car, which is a bi-word for safety. Cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic braking, that's how the Subaru Eyesight kicks in, well you get that idea.

This crossover Impreza maybe work for those who got on with their North Face gear for an outing at either Hokkaido or Mt. Fuji but as a city car, seems that most people think that you brought a dirt-goer to a socialite's party. Guests will think that you're a bit down and dirty, something like The Stig's offroad driving cousin I saw a couple of weeks ago who beat the kayak with an offroader. Still, it's now a global car, no wonder Malaysians had a chance to build one of these so a toast to this rugged Impreza that can go anywhere.

Available Colors: Satin White Pearl, Desert Khaki, Ice Silver Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic, Crystal Black Silica, Deep Cherry Pearl, Tangerine Orange Pearl, Venetian Red Pearl, and Deep Sea Blue Pearl.

The SRT Viper GTS-R on FM4

Le Mans Viper reporting for duty!

It was in one of these. Well, not exactly one of these. Yes, this is the SRT Viper GTS-R, the race-spec version of the SRT Viper and part of Forza Motorsport 4's September Pennzoil Car Pack, the final DLC car pack to be ever offered on this game.

Final DLC car pack on this game? Hmmm....Very convincing. Never thought of it that this is the last car pack we will ever get on Forza 4. Anyway, the car...

Another SRT Viper GTS-R!

It's like the SRT Viper GTS in terms of its looks but the 8.4L V10 engine was been toned down to 8.0L and the power output's reduced from 640HP to 455HP in order to meet the regulations of the GT-class for the American Le Mans. For the GT class, it is required that a GT-class racer to have the maximum engine size of 5.5L but the 8-litre GTS-R was exempted, requiring a restrictor in the engine’s intake tract. Also, the luxuries on the interior has been stripped and replaced it with racing peripherals and they made it lighter than the normal SRT Viper. It weighs almost about three tons.

Here in Forza 4, they featured not one but two SRT Viper GTS-R racers. One is the #91, which made it on 10th place for the GT-class, and the #93 Viper. Little known fact that major sponsors for the SRT Viper GTS-R includes Forza Motorsport, TWS Forged, Michelin, Magneti Marelli, Sabelt, Pennzoil, and Mopar. Something bothered me that a couple of months ago, Car Town did featured a Forza Motorsport-sponsored #91 Viper GTS-R. Isn't that too timey-wimey? Never mind that. I will be driving the #91 Viper and I am going to survive the assault at Road America until my uploaded YouTube video regarding Viper GTS-R's at the Top Gear Test Track and when uploading starts, I shall set off....

And because it's starting to upload, the Viper assault begins...

Viper Assault

Ooh, it's getting a bit too dynamic...

Okay, 0-60 takes over three seconds and top speed...not as fast as the road car. SRT claims that it's about 182MPH. Gearbox's mounted at the back for better weight distribution, carbon fiber body, aircon on the racing cockpit as a regulation to keep racers well-ventilated, I am starting to think about this is my new office. My new cubicle for the race track perhaps. But rather than being a cubicle, the SRT Viper GTS-R tends to be even more dynamic so you have to watch out for that because the slightest mistake may cost you dearly. It may not about as amazing as the Corvette Racing ZR1 I drove last June but I'm managing...

SEVERAL MINUTES LATER...

Okay, I think my upload's about 70% done and let's not mess around shall we? Let's be serious...

Nearly hit the cone...

Mmmmm....toasty!

I now have 90% complete on my upload and I'm starting to get serious about the SRT Viper GTS-R's hidden talent, something that will give the judges a BIG YES. And if I mean BIG YES, I wanna refer to an Amy Pond-kind of BIG YES. I am unable to contain excitement to this...

BIG YES!

UNABLE TO CONTAIN EXCITEMENT

..because it's a BIG YES and I am UNABLE TO CONTAIN EXCITEMENT, I'm starting to like this stripped-out race-spec version of the SRT Viper but then someone said that the upload is complete so...my excitement's over...

Excitement's end...

It was quite a thrill for me to drive the SRT Viper GTS-R and for that Community Rivals event set on Road Atlanta course using nothing but Viper GTS-R's, here's how I stacked up...

Here's how I stacked up...

To mark the occasion, let's watch the YouTube video I've uploaded...

Let's Do The News! (September 24, 2012)

Now time to do the news and speaking of which, good job surviving the year of the Slow Invasion.

(audience laughing)

Yeah. Hope you've enjoyed that Doctor Who episode. I find it amusing that the character, Kate Stewart, was the daughter of Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart.

Uh-huh. Always sticking up to her father's duties for UNIT.

Yeah, and how does those mysterious cubes that bad things happened when it hits zero?

Heart attack. Those sinister cubes gave them heart attacks.

I see. You know, on to that discussion of THE POWER OF THREE, you know that there a someone else didn't catch up to that episode. Some say, it's one of Who's who didin't saw that episode. Wanna know who that is?

Uh...I don't know...

(audience laughing)

...I don't know who's that Doctor Who personality who missed watching that show...

Want to know the answer, Jezz? Here it is...

______________________________________________________________________

Karen Gillan ‏@KarenGillan2
I want to watch The Power of Three but i can't cause its not on here yet! what IS this?!

______________________________________________________________________

(audience laughing)

Karen Gillan, who is Amy Pond on that show, never saw that episode. Too bad...

Why?

Because, word from the mouth is that she's in Los Angeles with Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat for the BAFTA Los Angeles.

Steven Moffat and Kaz in Los Angeles
(Source: http://ahunagi.tumblr.com/post/32103456028)

Karen's in LA? But Los Angeles do have BBC America...

She doesn't have enough time.

Oh...You're right. Kaz's very busy for the BAFTA LA tea time so she doesn't have time to catch up with The Power of Three...

(audience laughing)

Indeed. But next week...

Next week what?

This is the last time we ever meet up with Amy and Rory.

(awwwww)

I know this is a bit tearful but can it be as tearful as the Doctor Who Season 2 finale? Don't know but be sure to tune in this Saturday for the mid-season finale (finishing Season 7 Part 1) of Doctor Who on BBC One, BBC One HD, BBC America, and SPACE. Yes, the Ponds will be missed but The Doctor moves on....

Yeah, moving on and The Eleventh Doctor will be back on the 2012 Christmas Special with the souffle girl again as his new partner.

(audience laughing)

Okay, let's move on because I just watched a news about a sports car rammed six others in EDSA. Wanna know what's that sportscar that was involved on the crash? Let's watch...

A Nissan was involved in a crash? This one was the latest version of the Nissan GT-R? Ahem, The Nissan GT-R wasn't sold in Nissan Philippines dealerships as now but how did this came here? SMUGGLED?

(audience laughing)

This car is not one of theirs. What's this doing here? Anyway, luckily no one were killed. Injuries involved.

Yeah, luckily though, the front was crashed thanks to it's GT-R's rigidity.

(audience laughing)

It's kinda rare that we catch up a Nissan GT-R crashed on uncharted territories but let's move on anyway because...now, THE IDOLM@STER. They've announced next year's concert at the Makuhari Messe this February 10, 2013 for THE IDOLM@STER Winter Festival 2013. That was announced during the recently ended 2012 Tokyo Game Show. We know what that means...

BACK IN THE GAME!

BIG YES!
image
UNABLE TO CONTAIN EXCITEMENT

(audience laughing)

Wait a minute...Back in the game, BIG YES, and unable to contain excitement, what the hell?

Just expressing how exciting IDOLM@STER concerts are. They are always coming back in the game, a BIG YES for them, and unable to contain excitement because the excitement from those IDOLM@STER fandom assaults you more than the V8 Ariel Atom.

(audience laughing)

You are quite right you said. Those excitement that you felt on those IDOLM@STER-related concerts, it just gave you a feeling that you want to get high and go forth as you listen to those IM@S songs because what you said that they were the best driving songs, which is more than car commercial songs that you claim that they are the best driving songs to be played on a car.

Exactly.

Right, go see for yourself. Imagine if THE STIG will end up on his shoes as a 765PRO Producer...

(audience laughing)

Unable to contain excitement. That's for sure...

...also, for those IM@S fans who are unable to contain excitement, another IDOLM@STER anime is coming and this time it's super deformed!

(audience laughing and applause)

Oh my gosh, he's gone hyper. Jeremy, knock it off!

Super deformed IDOLM@STER characters gets an anime titled Puchimas - PETIT IDOLM@STER - and here's the PR video as seen on the Tokyo Game Show!!!! WAHOO!!!!

(audience applause)

(applause)

(hyperventilating)

So, Jezz, any details?

(hyperventilating)

Jezz?

(hyperventilating)

Jezz?

(hyperventilating...and stopped) Anyway, further info will be revealed at the November issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Maoh magazine.

Scoop: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-09-23/puchimas-petit-idolm@ster-4-panel-manga-gets-anime

Okay, sit down and enough with all of these...UNABLE TO CONTAIN EXCITEMENT stuff like what Sherlock and Watson do...

(audience laughing)

Hey now, remember the all new Mercedes-Benz A-Class we sampled the other week? I know, this is much more stylish than the BMW 1-Series but I just heard that BRABUS wants their own A-Class by spicing it up a little. Here it is...

2013 Brabus A-Class

That looks even more stunning that ever...

I never know that the A-Class is now even more stunning than ever ever since the third-generation model broke cover and for this BRABUS A-Class, that's more interesting than the normal new A-Class. Look at it. This looks scrumptious as Hell's Kitchen.

(audience laughing)

No doubt. I really want one of these to make fun of other college students with cars.

(audience laughing)

Fair enough. Anyway, while most people love to dance to PSY's Gangnam style, some like to take it very seriously. I heard that in Thailand, a Gangnam Style dance off ended up into a violent gang war.

(huh?)

True. A dance battle between rival gangs in Thailand took a turn for the worst when the situation escalated into a shootout.

Whoa...

That really is a bombshell we can end this segment so that's the news!

Formula One 2012 Singapore GP Update

The F1 2012 Singapore GP occurred and guess what? S. Vettel dominated this year's race! He's really mean on that race and this was an intense battle in F1 2012 history. S Vettel was 1st while McLaren's Jenson Button in 2nd and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso placed 3rd.

PRESS RELEASE:

Race - resurgent Vettel wins action-packed Singapore round

Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel jumped into stronger contention for the world championship after scoring a comfortable victory in Singapore over McLaren’s Jenson Button and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso on Sunday.

Once Lewis Hamilton’s leading McLaren had quit after 22 laps with a gearbox fault, Vettel had no trouble in keeping Button’s sister MP4-27 at bay as the Englishman struggled with balance on the soft Pirelli tyre. Meanwhile, Alonso found his Ferrari lacking the pace to do anything about either of them.

Indeed, the Spaniard was a little fortunate that besides Hamilton, a challenging Pastor Maldonado retired his Williams with hydraulic problems after 38 laps, and saw his points tally rise to 194. He lost ground to Vettel, who now has 165 points, but extended his advantage over fellow contenders Hamilton, Lotus’s Kimi Raikkonen and Red Bull’s Mark Webber.

With Hamilton out of the way, Vettel and his Red Bull were unchallenged as, further back, several incidents of mayhem interrupted the flow of what became a 59 rather than 61-lap race as the two-hour limit was reached.

The first safety car was deployed on the 33rd lap when Narain Karthikeyan tapped a wall in his HRT. There was a lengthy delay while this was retrieved, and no sooner had racing resumed on the 39th lap then Mercedes’ Michael Schumacher rammed the back of the 10th-placed Toro Rosso of Jean-Eric Vergne, resulting in retirement for both and a second safety-car deployment. Schumacher was subsequently handed a 10-place grid penalty for the next round in Japan for causing the collision.

The second safety car period, prompted by the German, lasted until the 42nd lap, whereupon Vettel simply took up where he left off. Button pushed hard for a while and reduced the gap to 1.5s, but in the latter stages Vettel opened it back up and was 8.9s ahead by the finish, with Alonso another 6.2s down.

An career-best fourth place went to Paul di Resta, who was forceful all afternoon in his Force India and under no threat from Nico Rosberg, who drove an unobtrusive race for Mercedes to keep the Lotuses of Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean at bay as Felipe Massa fought his way up from a first-lap puncture to take a strong eighth for Ferrari.

Toro Rosso scored points despite the Vergne disappointment, courtesy of Daniel Ricciardo, who held off the attacking Red Bull of Webber all the way to the flag after the Australian had gambled on a third pit stop under the second safety car.

Sergio Perez was a disappointed 11th for Sauber, who had seen other driver Kamui Kobayashi pushed back after contact with Webber, which is currently under investigation by the stewards. Kobayashi also had an incident with Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg who followed Webber through but caught his left-rear tyre on the Sauber’s right front wing endplate.

Kobayashi and Hulkenberg both made further pit stops as a result, but the Japanese driver recovered to chase Timo Glock across the line. The German delighted Marussia with this massively-important 12th place - the team's best F1 result to date - which has big implications in their fight with Caterham and HRT, especially as he had been fortunate to escape damage after clobbering a wall earlier on.

Glock’s team mate Charles Pic also ran strongly, but was overtaken by Hulkenberg and Heikki Kovalainen’s Caterham right at the end. The Frenchman also has a 20-second time penalty to factor in after his red flag overtaking indiscretion on Saturday.

Pedro de la Rosa was 17th for HRT after Bruno Senna stopped on the 58th lap. The Brazilian had had an adventurous race which saw him set fastest lap at one stage, battle for points and clash with Massa. Vitaly Petrov was also in the wars, and the final finisher for Caterham. He was delayed by the loss of his front wing on the opening lap and then a problem in his final pit stop which necessitated him being pushed back to his garage before his CT-01 could be restarted.

Vettel dedicated his victory to the late Professor Sid Watkins who died last week, and for whom there was a minute’s silence on the grid prior to the start. As well as bringing him back into contention for the title, the German’s win extends Red Bull’s lead in the constructors’ standings to 37 with the Milton-Keynes team on 298 to McLaren’s 261. Ferrari are third with 245 to Lotus’s 231 and Mercedes’ distant 136.

It's all cubed and curiosity in The Power of Three

So, episode 4 of Doctor Who Series 7 titled The Power of Three...

It's all cubed and a bit of curiosity where The Doctor, Amy, and Rory encountered that Earth is invaded by those mysterious black cubes and this was known was the Year of the Slow Invasion. This episode might have a bit of slice-of-life at the first half but on the latter half, this is worth a thrill. I love this episode...

Next week, it's the mid-season finale, finishing the first half of Series 7. The one where the Weeping Angels returned with a vengeance as well as River Song aiding the gang. Next week will be the last of Amelia Pond and Rory Williams. (sniff) Hope you got tissue boxes ready for next week.

Lotus Exige S V6

The power of three...what could possibly be? I'm not sure if we do live in the year of the slow invasion but anyway, that would be too wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey spacey-wasey to talk about that later so, for a three's a crowd, we found one that is worth THE POWER OF THREE...

2012 Lotus Exige S

Some people thought that the Lotus Exige is probably a hardtop hardcore version of the Lotus Elise but for this one, NOT ANYMORE IT ISN'T!

Welcome everybody to the all new Lotus Exige S, the hardcore hardtop Lotus now made even better and for starters, the Toyota engine that used to power the old Celica was been thrown away and replaced with the supercharged 3.5L V6 Toyota engine first applied on the Lotus Evora S. So then, what you're looking up here is a lightweight V6 rage racer. It does 0-100kph at around 3.8 seconds and flatout, it can crack it up to 271kph, about 6kph less than the Lotus Evora S.

Yes, I may want to call it a "rage racer" because look at it, from every angle, this new Exige S looks absolutely enraging. Even though it looks enraging, it's about as elegant as Takane Shijou and for the fun of it, this is about as real as the fictitious Fatalita. Look at the bodywork. If you manage to put some Fatalita livery on it, this is just astonishing and truly an envy of your crowd.

Of course, with all that beauty of a Ridge Racer do come with a price. Because the Exige is all about being a serious lightweight car with a Japanese V6 engine on it, the interior is all about being race-focused and what I expect here is the speedometer. It looks kinda like the one from the Evora. Sure it has an audio but I don't care about it. I don't care about the racer-focused interior. What matters here is the Exige S V6's elegance. Think of it as...Takane Shijou in Christie Monteiro's outfit. Here we go...

When I said Takane Shijou in Christie Monteiro's costume, I really do mean it because the handling is just fantastic for a car that weighs about two tons, about as similar as the Lotus Elise. It's not as mild as a luxury car and it's not as dynamic as an American muscle car. The handling is well balanced and easy to drive because of its lightweight body. Couple that with the 6-speed close ratio manual transmission and this car is a bit more fun. This car is not made for the noobs everywhere because this car's a serious track-day racer, doing the capoeira in every single corner. It is a good car but what about being an everyday car?

Sadly though, it isn't. Sure, the Exige may be track-ready and road legal but with all that sports suspension mounted on the Exige S V6, I'm sorry to say that you'll be going to have a very uncomfortable feeling. It maybe elegant on the track but on the road, this is a different story because when you use this car while going out on a date, this is a bit more wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey spacey-wasey and your girlfriend might think that you're driving a car that scares her the most. Funny thing is, there's no power steering. That's it.

Despite all that bonkers technology, this is really the Lotus I like. I am gladly want to ditch the Evora S for this because the Evora's too heavy and too complicating because of the monitor that I can't read in the sunshine. This car, it's all about THE POWER OF THREE. That is by being lighter, powerful, and aggressive than the old Exige.

What’s in our Car Town garage now? (September 23, 2012)

Two years ago, there was a social game from Facebook called Car Town, where Facebookers wasting time building the garage of their dreams, drag race, NASCAR, IndyCar, complete tasks, jobs, and best of all, collect cars of all kinds. There are normal cars you can collect, Limited Edition cars that you have to get it before it expires, classic cars to be restored with all the parts you've collected, everything. That what makes Car Town an ideal Facebook social game for the petrolheads. I wasn't familiar with that Facebook game until the moment they told that there are cars from Car Town that you won't normally get on racing video games. I have to check it out and I got hooked on it.

My Car Town garage is this...Jobs on the right and
a Top Gear-style studio on the left

As of now, My Car Town garage is my idea; I have my money making on the right and on the left, a studio inspired from the popular British motoring TV show, Top Gear except for the musical instruments I placed. For my love of Car Town, I decided to open up a new segment on this blog called "What's in our Car Town garage now?" where I'm going to feature three of the Car Town cars I've collected; from normal cars, limited edition cars with limited availability, prize cars, and cars restored from the junkyard. Let's begin....

1973 Ford Pinto

1973 Ford Pinto

Some people said that the Pinto is one of the most dangerous cars to drive in America, probably because of the fuel tank mounted at the back and when you crashed it, things go boom. The Pinto was launched in 1970 and the ad says that this is a "little carefree car" that was priced like a small economy Japanese car and it was averaged at about 25MPG in simulated city and suburban driving.

2011 Toyota Prius V

2011 Toyota Prius V

Well, its a Toyota Prius with a bigger boot. In America, this Prius MPV was called the Prius V while in Europe as the Toyota Prius Plus and in Japan, where it was made, the Prius α (alpha). In Japan, the Prius α is available in 5-seater and 7-seater while retaining the same specs of the normal Prius. 5-seater variants come with the traditional nickel battery while 7-seaters do come with the advanced Lithium-ion battery.

2010 VW GTi

2010 VW GTi

The GTi name is the pinnacle of the Volkswagen Golf legacy and for this sixth-generation Golf, this is no equal to the other GTi's. Of course, the VW Golf is made for the conventional people who spends a normal life but for the Golf GTi, things are about to change because what you have here is an icon, even more iconic than a Beetle.

...check back soon!

Let's Do The News! (September 23, 2012)

So, you really didn't like the new iPhone 5, right?

Yeah. I thought Apple said that they made it even better but now look, height enhanced, no YouTube app, maps now Apple-run rather than Google maps, obviously, this has got to be one of the most rubbish phones I have ever encounter. Wonder if years later, the iPhone's gonna take some more height enhancers until it reaches the height of the lightsaber?

(audience laughing)

Well, sort of. But anyway, let's do the news and you might have noticing that the September Pennzoil Car Pack we got on Forza 4. Turn 10 says that this car pack is the last of the regular monthly car packs on this game as they're going to make final preparations for next month's Forza Horizon.

(awww)

I'm sorry but that decision is final. Anyway, we have something to cheer you up. Anyway, back at the 2012 Tokyo Game Show, Sony announced an even slimmer Playstation3...

What? A much slimmer PS3?

Exactly. here's the pic...

Sony Playstation 3 (2012 model)

So, is it slimmer than before but is it still bigger on the inside?

Some say, yes. It's still bigger on the inside because the entry-level is now a 250GB PS3 while they'll be launching a flagship 500GB model which is truly a super slim PS3 that is bigger on the inside! Much like the TARDIS from Doctor Who...

(audience laughing)

Looking forward to that.

Yeah.

Anyway, back on the Indonesian International Motor Show, we just heard that the facelifted Honda CR-Z Sport Hybrid broke cover and made a surprise appearance on that show. Check this out...

2013 Honda CR-Z?!

So, some mild changes on the exterior, huh? What's the specs?

Actually, we can't really mention that because we have to wait until its Japan arrival at the end of this month.

Right.

Huh? But they're serious performance cars. How could they get problems?

(audience laughing)

Well, they said that there was some issues about the oil pump on those cars and they said that if prolonged, that "could experience a sudden loss of pressure which will result in severe engine damage". Most internet geeks do feature an evidence about the new M5 and M6's oil pump dilemma...

So, that rings a bell huh?

Exactly and if you were living in America and if you want to get a hold on the new M5 or M6, better not be right now because of the affected oil pump issue that could ruin the 4.4L V8 biturbo engine and cause power loss.

That's an order!

(audience laughing)

Anyway, while we were on this, I just saw a public service message from ABS-CBN's The Filipino Channel or TFC about the Optical Media Board's BAWAL KUMOPYA campaign in the fight against piracy and what I just saw aside from OMB chairman, who used to be an action star in the past, Ronnie Ricketts, I just bumped into the stars of the hit TV drama, Walang Hanggan.

(ooohhh)

So, let's see, there was Coco Martin, Julia Montes, Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta, Joem Bascon, and Paulo Avelino joining the fight against piracy on that Public Service Announcement you just watched. The good guys which were Daniel, Katerina, Marco, and Emily, and the bad guys which were Nathan and Tomas, they were there?

Exactly. That seems to be odd but I think this whole BAWAL KUMOPYA campaign would be a good idea for the Optical Media Board to spread the message to our Filipinos worldwide to end piracy that's been plaguing around for centuries.

Yeah, stuff like pirated DVDS, CDs, bootlegs, torrents, and other forms of infringement, they should better be gone.

Aha! You said that.

(audience laughing)

Anyway, there's going to be a new book coming out in October and this is a shocking conspiracy...

(huh?)

What is it?

Well, some say, this is the book to end the misery of other Top Gear fans...

Wait hold it. Is it all about The Stig?

Yeah and that book is titled The Stig: The Untold Story. This is from BBC Books and it was written by someone named Simon du Beaumarche. On that book, he's going to uncover Who is The Stig in different kind of way and a look behind the scenes.

Oh geez. This is like what happened to former Stig Ben Collins. He was fired when he tries to make a autobiography of himself.

(audience laughing)
